Quinoa Flake Oatmeal

Quinoa Flake Oatmeal

Ingredients ~

  • 1/3 or 1/2 cup quinoa flakes, (or gluten free oats if you can have them)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds,
  • 1/2 tsp cacao,
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon,
  • 1 Banana sliced,
  • 1/4 cup filled 3/4 Water,
  • 1 tbsp Peanut butter to top (any nut or seed butter of choice).

Method ~

In a microwave safe bowl stir in chia seeds & quinoa flakes.

Then stir in cacao & cinnamon until combined.

Add in water (not much at all!) & stir then microwave for 1 minute.

Remove from microwave & stir in 1/2 the banana then heat for another 30s.

Remove from heat and top with 1/2 banana & topping of choice. I used 1 tbsp Smooth Peanut butter.
